BLACK ORCHID STUDIO

Black Orchid Studio is located in West Lakeview, Chicago at the Salon Lofts owned & operated by Maddy Torres-Ibarra. Her styling and services always are innovative, impactful, and always brought to you with a smile. So it was important when creating her branding that we capture the energy and creativity Maddy brings to her studio every day.

MUJERES MAKING MONEY MOVE

This event was created to support & inspire local professional women while educating each other on buying power & money management.  A movement to empower our community and demand they put their money where their mouth is and challenge the status quo. I designed the marketing campaign and created the recap video.

JEFAS BRUNCH

Prospanica & Healthy Hood Chi co-hosted an event in partnership with The Wing in Chicago. This event was for women of color seeking to network and socialize over brunch to collectively formulate opportunities to give back to their community. I designed the marketing campaign and created the recap video.

JEFAS OF CHICAGO

For Women’s Month we celebrate the talented Jefas of Chicago. We celebrate their accomplishments, their passions, and their commitment to furthering the success of our community! I collaborated with Prospanica and several local woman-led Chicago businesses in an effort to celebrate and raise awareness. This resulted in a campaign consisting of several short videos highlighting these wonderful women, their business, and mission.

VIDA MIA COCKTAILS

Founded by Argelia Martinez, Vida Mia Cocktails is a cocktail experience company meant to elevate perceptions about Mexican culture through food and beverage pairings. Vida Mia Cocktails co-hosts themed suppers and virtual mixology classes about the history of the sacred agave and is evolving by diving into the custom kit space in Chicago. I developed a stop-motion promotional video that captures the versatility of her new elixirs.

PLANS

PLANS was founded to address the underrepresentation of Latinos in Clinical and Counseling Psychology doctoral programs. Their mission is to support the growth and success of Latino undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students interested in becoming licensed psychologists. They offer community and connection to mentors, networking, and resources that will help you succeed in your PLANS. We approached this initiative with our user-base specifically in mind when designing the website and logo. Learn more about PLANS here.

DOCKSIDE DELIVERY

Dockside Delivery is a minority-owned, grocery, food, and liquor delivery platform based in Chicago, IL specifically catering to the boating community. The foundation of their business is built on service, great food, and good vibes.  Partnering with several local vendors, they provide everything you need for the perfect boating experience, directly to your dockside. I’ve collaborated with Dockside Delivery to provide high-quality social media assets in accordance with their branding.

BLACK BLOOD HEALS

Black Blood Heals is an original podcast presented by Be The Match in partnership with iHeartRadio. In this compelling monthly podcast series, we explore the stories of heroic Black donors who have saved lives and Black patients in need of life-saving stem cell and bone marrow transplants. In collaboration with iHeartRadio, we developed a commercial video campaigning for the community to support the organizations initiative.

WWM FITNESS

 WWM Fitness specializes in HIIT and lifting bootcamp programs for all body types. WWM empowers you mentally and physically to build self-confidence. Marybel Wilson is a certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Lifestyle Coach. Her fitness journey began in 2015. She was introduced to a sports training facility in the northern suburbs of Chicago which completely changed her perspective on health and fitness! Since then she has helped countless men and women change the way they eat and feel about fitness. We’ve collaborated in creating a catalog of marketing material for her website and social media.
